Washington Post<\/a>: \u201cAs a candidate, Trump repeatedly said he would never cut Medicare, Medicaid or Social Security. Now he proposes cutting Medicare by $554 billion and Medicaid by around $250 billion over the next decade.\u201d<\/p>\n

2018 WH BUDGET: TRUMP TRIED TO CUT $800 BILLION FROM MEDICAID.<\/p>\n

2019 HOUSE GOP BUDGET: REPUBLICANS PROPOSED CUTTING MEDICARE BY $537 BILLION.<\/p>\n

The Hill<\/a>: \u201cHouse Republicans offered a budget proposal on Tuesday that would cut mandatory spending by $5.4 trillion over a decade, including $537 billion in cuts to Medicare and $1.5 trillion in cuts to Medicaid and other health programs.\u201d<\/p>\n
