After the U.S. Department of Labor released the latest jobs and unemployment numbers, DNC Chair and former Labor Secretary Tom Perez released the following statement:<\/em><\/p>\n

\u201cPresident Trump\u2019s erratic behavior and reckless economic policies are causing uncertainty and angst for the American worker. Wage growth is flat. Manufacturing is in decline. And job growth continues to slow.<\/p>\n

\u201cTrump has utterly failed to fight for working families. He gave a massive tax break to his wealthy friends. And instead of building an economy that works for everyone, he spends all day on Twitter spewing obvious lies and petty insults. The American people have had enough of this ineffective president and his Republican enablers, and that\u2019s why they\u2019re going to vote for Democratic leadership up and down the ballot next November.\u201d<\/p>\n
