Mike Pence has spent his entire political career waging war against a woman\u2019s right to choose. With Roe v. Wade <\/em>overturned because of conservative Supreme Court justices appointed by the Trump-Pence administration, Pence continues to brag about his <\/em>role in opening the door for a national abortion ban \u2013 which he\u2019s promised to sign into law if elected. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Pence has promised to sign a national abortion ban that rips away a woman\u2019s right to choose before many women even know they\u2019re pregnant, and even in cases of an unviable pregnancy. <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Pence<\/a> on whether he would support a six-week national abortion ban: \u201cWell, of course. Look \u2014 I\u2019m pro-life. I don\u2019t apologize for it. I believe that we\u2019ve got to do everything in our power to restore the sanctity of life to the center of American law. And I\u2019d support federal legislation in that regard if I was in the Congress or had any other job here in town.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Pence<\/a>: \u201cI\u2019d certainly support a heartbeat bill, a six-week bill.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Pence<\/a>: \u201cIf I was in [Congress] or in a job at the other end of Pennsylvania Avenue and they put policy in front of me to limit abortions in the country, I\u2019d certainly support it.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

CNN<\/a>: \u201cFormer Vice President Mike Pence said abortion should be banned when a pregnancy is not viable, according to the Associated Press.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Pence immediately called for a national abortion ban after the <\/strong>Dobbs<\/em><\/strong> decision and has repeatedly <\/strong>bragged<\/strong><\/a> about his role in paving the way to overturn <\/strong>Roe v. Wade<\/em><\/strong> \u2013 all because of the conservative justices appointed by the Trump-Pence administration. <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Washington Post<\/a>: \u201cAfter saying that \u2018life won\u2019 on Friday, Pence, who is considered a potential GOP contender in the 2024 presidential election, went one step further by arguing the court\u2019s decision in Dobbs v. Jackson Women\u2019s Health should lead to a national ban on abortion.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Politico<\/a>: \u201cPence has repeatedly touted and taken credit for the anti-abortion policies of the Trump administration, openly courting the support of anti-abortion groups as he considers a 2024 run.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Hill<\/a>: \u201c[Pence] called the appointment of three conservative Supreme Court justices one of the \u2018great accomplishments\u2019 of the Trump administration.
