In response to Nikki Haley\u2019s new ad that features notorious election denier Don Bolduc,<\/em> DNC National Press Secretary Sarafina Chitika released the following statement:<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cThis disgraceful ad is just the latest example of Nikki Haley siding with election deniers and MAGA extremists over American voters and values. Haley already made notorious election denier Don Bolduc her New Hampshire campaign chair \u2013 now she\u2019s running ads with him the day before the anniversary of the attack on our nation\u2019s Capitol to make it crystal clear that she will always put her political ambitions ahead of our democracy. Haley continues to show why she is the wrong candidate to lead and unite this country, and why voters will never allow a MAGA extremist like her to put our freedoms in danger.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The day before the third anniversary of the January 6 insurrection, Haley had the audacity to release an ad with election denier Don Bolduc, the latest in her long history of cozying up to anti-democracy MAGA extremists. <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Playbook<\/a>: \u201cNIKKI HALEY is going up with a new ad in New Hampshire featuring DON BOLDUC, the former Army general and failed 2020 and 2022 GOP Senate candidate in the state, who embraced Trump in his second run.\u201d <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Bolduc, justifying his endorsement of Nikki Haley<\/strong><\/a>: \u201cI\u2019m MAGA all the way.\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Bolduc exhausted every effort to deny the results of the 2020 election \u2014 which Trump lost by over 7 million votes \u2014 and continues to peddle the baseless conspiracy theories that led to the January 6 attack on the U.S. Capitol. <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Bolduc<\/a>: \u201cI signed a letter with 120 other generals and admirals saying that Trump won the election, and damn it, I stand by [it]. \u2026 I\u2019m not switching horses, baby. This is it.\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Bolduc<\/a>: \u201cI will tell you that I signed a letter with 124 admirals and generals that stipulated, I believed, that the election had fraud and that I concurred with President Trump\u2019s assessment of it. And I do not change my mind on that.\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

CNN<\/a>: \u201cNew Hampshire Senate candidate Don Bolduc won the Republican nomination on Tuesday after months campaigning on false claims that the 2020 election was stolen from former President Donald Trump.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201c[Bolduc] has long been an exponent of Trump\u2019s lies. In an interview with the New Yorker published in October 2021, he defended his decision to sign on to the letter that said Trump was the 2020 winner and insisted that his rigged election and fraud claims were sincere. <\/strong>\u2018I very much believe it and I think it exists, and I think it happens and it\u2019s been happening for a long time in this country. When you try to steal the Presidency, a lot of people are going to go, \u2018OK, wait a minute. What the hell\u2019s going on here?,’ Bolduc said at the time.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Haley\u2019s top New Hampshire endorser Chris Sununu also endorsed Bolduc in 2022 despite his election denialism \u2014 even after Sununu had previously called Bolduc a \u201cconspiracy theorist-type candidate.\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

From the 2022 election cycle to the launch of her presidential run, Haley has traded endorsements with election deniers and has propped up extremists such as Bolduc by adding him to her campaign team. <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cDon Bolduc, a retired Army general and former U.S. Senate candidate, is the new chair for Republican presidential candidate Nikki Haley\u2019s New Hampshire campaign, the Haley campaign announced Tuesday morning. Bolduc made national headlines during his 2022 Senate campaign \u2026 for his controversial views on COVID-19 and the 2020 election.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Haley<\/a> in October 2022: \u201cEverybody that I\u2019m helping acknowledges the fact that the elections, you know, were real.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Washington Post<\/a>: \u201c[Haley] has endorsed and campaigned with a slate of Senate candidates who reject or question the 2020 election results<\/strong> as she positions herself as a potential 2024 presidential candidate. Haley appeared at a rally Tuesday with Don Bolduc of New Hampshire, who insisted Trump won the election and that President Biden was illegitimate … She also campaigned with Adam Laxalt of Nevada, who led the Trump campaign\u2019s efforts to overturn the results in that state. And she endorsed Ted Budd of North Carolina, who as a congressman voted against certifying the electoral college results on Jan. 6, 2021.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cIn addition to Bolduc, Laxalt, and Budd, Haley has also endorsed Sen. Mike Lee of Utah, who worked to keep Trump in office after the election, according to text messages obtained by the House committee investigating the Jan. 6, 2021, attack on the Capitol.\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n
