In response to Tim Scott refusing to support<\/a> bipartisan legislation to accomplish his alleged goal of securing the border, DNC Rapid Response Director Alex Floyd released the following statement: <\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cIf Tim Scott is looking for the reason why Congress hasn\u2019t passed a law to improve border security, he just needs to look in the mirror. Scott and his fellow MAGA Republicans are doing Donald Trump\u2019s bidding and putting partisan politics ahead of the American people \u2014 but voters see right through his lame excuses and will not let the GOP have it both ways this November.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n
