In case you missed it: Donald Trump saw flashing red warning signs in his Super Tuesday performance and is uninterested in winning over Nikki Haley supporters; congressional Republicans failed to explain their support for a law threatening IVF access; Mitch McConnell endorsed Trump despite having previously railed against his actions leading up to January 6; and Trump\u2019s hand-picked candidate for the North Carolina governor\u2019s race said he wants to go back to a time when women couldn\u2019t vote.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Meanwhile, Trump\u2019s MAGA allies are threatening to block President Biden\u2019s actions to slash junk fees; yet another Trump veepstakes contender refused to commit to certifying election results if he was vice president; and Ronna McDaniel\u2019s time at the RNC came to a close after poor fundraising and back to back losses at the ballot box.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>All Donald Trump can see after his Super Tuesday performance are red flags \u2013&nbsp;and he has no interest in fixing them.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.cnn.com\/2024\/03\/07\/politics\/trump-republican-party-fractured-nomination\/index.html\">CNN<\/a>:<strong> <\/strong>\u201cTrump faces a fractured party, legal troubles and financial headwinds after securing GOP nomination\u201d&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cAs he emerges victorious from the Republican primary race, Trump faces considerable challenges both inside and outside the political arena. \u2026 But chief among his priorities as a candidate over the next eight months will be rallying disenchanted Republicans around his third White House bid. Trump\u2019s team is keenly aware of how polarizing their candidate is, and that every vote will count in what is expected to be a highly competitive general election rematch.\u201d&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cAdditionally, Trump\u2019s political operation is trailing the Biden campaign significantly in the money game, entering February with roughly $30 million in cash reserves compared to nearly $56 million in Biden\u2019s equivalent account.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cThe Democratic National Committee has similarly trounced the Republican National Committee in fundraising.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/news\/2903931\/trump-super-tuesday-faces-warning-signs-battle-against-biden\/\">Washington Examiner<\/a>: \u201cTrump dominates Super Tuesday but faces warning signs in battle against Biden\u201d&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cTrump did little to help the narrative that he can appeal to independents, centrist Republicans, and Democrats unwilling to support Biden after Haley\u2019s exit from the 2024 race.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonpost.com\/politics\/2024\/03\/06\/trump-nomination-legal-financial-challenges\/\">Washington Post<\/a>: \u201cIn addition to warning signs from Haley voters and independents that they aren\u2019t eager to back him, Trump is staring down over half a billion dollars in legal judgments coming due within weeks and trying to push back four criminal trials until after the election. \u2026 In preliminary exit polls Tuesday in Virginia and North Carolina \u2014 potentially competitive states in November\u2019s general election \u2014 most voters who supported Haley said they are not committed to supporting the Republican nominee.\u201d&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Trump is bizarrely uninterested in winning over the support of Nikki Haley voters, whom he has called \u201cRINOs,\u201d \u201cnever Trumpers,\u201d and \u201ccommunists\u201d who are \u201cbarred from the MAGA camp.\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/thehill.com\/homenews\/campaign\/4428148-trump-warns-haley-donors-will-be-permanently-barred-maga-camp\/\">Trump<\/a>: \u201cAnybody that makes a \u2018Contribution\u2019 to [Haley], from this moment forth, will be permanently barred from the MAGA camp. We don\u2019t want them, and will not accept them.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/x.com\/BidenHQ\/status\/1765483033715454431?s=20\">Trump<\/a>: Haley supporters are &#8220;RINOs,&#8221; &#8220;never Trumpers,&#8221; and &#8220;communists.&#8221;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/x.com\/BidenHQ\/status\/1765457347206410434?s=20\">Trump<\/a>: \u201cI&#8217;m not sure we need too many [Haley supporters].\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/x.com\/BidenHQ\/status\/1765483033715454431?s=20\">Trump<\/a>: \u201cNikki Haley has made an unholy alliance with RINOs, Never Trumpers, Americans for No Prosperity. And it was extremely unhelpful.\u2019\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>North Carolina GOP gubernatorial nominee Mark Robinson \u2013 who Trump thinks is \u201c<\/strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.theroot.com\/trump-called-this-nc-republican-who-said-black-people-o-1851308564\"><strong>Martin Luther King on steroids<\/strong><\/a><strong>\u201d \u2013&nbsp;is running on an extreme record of supporting cruel abortion bans, threatening our democracy, and talking about returning to a time when women couldn\u2019t vote.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/x.com\/BidenHQ\/status\/1764020416278892893?s=20\">Trump<\/a> on Robinson: \u201cThis is Martin Luther King on steroids.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.huffpost.com\/entry\/north-carolina-gop-mark-robinson-women-vote_n_65e7d899e4b0f9d26cacc002\">HuffPost<\/a>: \u201cMark Robinson&#8217;s Bizarre Ramble: &#8216;I Absolutely Want To Go Back To The America Where Women Couldn\u2019t Vote&#8217;\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cOn Tuesday, Lt. Gov. Mark Robinson won the GOP primary to become his party\u2019s nominee for North Carolina governor, presumably with the help of female voters.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cBut just four years ago, Robinson invoked a bizarre hypothetical in which he said he\u2019d \u2018absolutely\u2019 like to return to the days when the 19th Amendment didn\u2019t exist \u2015 when women didn\u2019t have the right to vote.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201c\u2018I absolutely want to go back to the America where women couldn\u2019t vote,\u2019 Robinson said in a newly resurfaced video of his remarks at a March 2020 event hosted by the Republican Women of Pitt County.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.notus.org\/2024-election\/mark-robinson-republican-governor-race-north-carolina\">NOTUS<\/a>: \u201cMark Robinson, currently the state\u2019s lieutenant governor, has referred to feminists as \u2018Fem-Nazis,\u2019 claimed there is a \u2018transgender movement\u2019 that is \u2018demonic\u2019 and a \u2018mass delusion,\u2019 called LGBTQ people \u2018filth,\u2019 continues to deny&nbsp; the 2020 election results, and has supported a no-exceptions abortion ban.
