In response to Donald Trump\u2019s plans to release a shortlist of his potential Supreme Court nominees, <\/em>DNC spokesperson Aida Ross released the following statement<\/em><\/strong>:<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cHere\u2019s what to expect on Donald Trump\u2019s shortlist of potential Supreme Court nominees: ultra-MAGA judicial extremists who will endanger our fundamental freedoms. Trump\u2019s last Supreme Court picks ended up overturning Roe v. Wade<\/em>, paving the way for Republicans to enact abortion bans across the country which are threatening life-saving health care and access to IVF. No matter who is on Trump\u2019s list, voters see right through his attempts to stack the bench with his MAGA loyalists \u2014 and will reject him again in November all the same.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

After appointing three anti-choice justices to the bench during his first term, Trump wants to stack the Supreme Court with ultra-MAGA picks who will do his bidding.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Washington Times<\/a>: \u201cFormer President Donald Trump is working on a new list of 20 potential picks for the Supreme Court should he be reelected in November, The Washington Times has learned.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cThe move revives a strategy he used to help win over conservatives in the 2016 election, which led to his reshaping the high court and the federal judiciary more broadly.\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201c\u2018I\u2019m going to be putting together a list of judges \u2014 great judges \u2014 a list of about 20. I think it\u2019s important to reveal who your Supreme Court justices will be,\u2019 Mr. Trump told The Times on Tuesday. \u2018There are people who say the list helped me win the election last time.\u2019\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Trump<\/a>: \u201cAnd when I\u2019m back in the White House, I will once again appoint rock-solid conservative judges <\/strong>in the mold of justices like Antonin Scalia and the great Clarence Thomas. \u2026 And before Election Day 2024, I will again release the full list of names from which I will select my appointments to the United States Supreme Court.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Politico<\/a>: \u201cTrump has made clear he expects unfleeting loyalty from the judges he appointed, <\/strong>referring to them as \u2018my judges\u2019 and grousing publicly when they ruled against his administration. \u2018If it\u2019s my judges, you know how they\u2019re gonna decide,\u2019 <\/strong>Trump assured evangelical leaders during the 2016 campaign.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Trump brags about how the Supreme Court justices he appointed overturned <\/strong>Roe v. Wade<\/em><\/strong>, paving the way for MAGA extremists to pass abortion bans across the country and rip away reproductive freedoms.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

CNBC<\/a>: \u201cFormer President Donald Trump called Friday\u2019s Supreme Court decision overturning Roe v. Wade \u2018the biggest WIN for LIFE in a generation\u2019 \u2014 and gave himself credit for the outcome in the controversial decision to undo federal abortion rights.\u201d<\/strong> <\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cTrump, in a statement, said Friday\u2019s ruling and other recent court decisions \u2018were only made possible because I delivered everything as promised, including nominating and getting three highly respected and strong Constitutionalists confirmed to the United States Supreme Court.\u2019\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Trump<\/a>: \u201cI\u2019m the one that got rid of Roe v. Wade, and everybody said that was an impossible thing to do. I put on three Supreme Court justices. Very few people have had that privilege or honor.\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Trump also wants to appoint extremist judges to courts across the country and put fundamental freedoms at risk \u2014 just like he brags about doing in his first term.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

NBC<\/a>: \u201cThe decision by a Trump-appointed federal judge in Texas could upend access nationwide to the standard two-pill regimen for medication abortions.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

CNN<\/a>: \u201cA Trump-appointed judge dealt another blow to Biden\u2019s climate agenda on Friday, barring the administration from using a metric that estimates the societal cost of carbon emissions.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cThis is not the first time a Trump-appointed judge has dealt a blow to the Biden administration\u2019s climate goals.
