In response to the RNC fundraising off of Donald Trump\u2019s \u201cbloodbath\u201d threats of political violence, <\/em>DNC Rapid Response Director Alex Floyd released the following statement<\/em><\/strong>:<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cThe RNC\u2019s attempt to fundraise off of Donald Trump\u2019s threats of political violence while promoting Trump\u2019s hateful and divisive fearmongering is a shameful new low for a committee that has repeatedly hit rock bottom only to sink further into toxic MAGA extremism that is driving away voters \u2013 and donors \u2013 ahead of November.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

After Donald Trump promised a \u201cbloodbath\u201d if he loses in November\u2026<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Trump<\/a>: \u201cIf I don\u2019t get elected, it\u2019s gonna be a bloodbath for the whole- that\u2019s going to be the least of it. It\u2019s going to be a bloodbath for the country.\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u2026 MAGA Republicans once again quickly rushed to his defense, while the RNC is trying to fundraise off his dangerous comments.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Politico<\/a>: \u201cReaction to Trump\u2019s speech: When is \u2018a bloodbath\u2019 not a bloodbath?\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cSen. Mike Rounds (R-S.D.) also accepted the interpretation of Trump\u2019s \u2018bloodbath\u2019 as pertaining to the American auto industry.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cSen. Bill Cassidy (R-La.), speaking on NBC\u2019s \u2018Meet the Press,\u2019 also said he was dubious about the uproar over Trump\u2019s language Saturday. \u2026 Cassidy said the press must bear some blame for interpreting Trump\u2019s remarks in the worst possible light.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Trump is once again facing intense criticism for his extreme and dangerous rhetoric.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Trump continues to praise and embrace violent January 6 rioters \u2013 including calling them \u201chostages\u201d and \u201cpatriots\u201d and vowing to pardon \u201ca large portion\u201d of those who attacked our Capitol. <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n
