In response to <\/em>reporting<\/em><\/a> that the RNC is perpetuating lies about the 2020 election through scripted calls to voters on behalf of Lara Trump, <\/em>DNC Rapid Response Director Alex Floyd released the following statement: <\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cRobocalls spewing election denying conspiracy theories are a new low for Lara Trump and ultra-MAGA RNC Chair Michael Whatley as they continue to undermine democracy at Donald Trump\u2019s command. The RNC is shamelessly propping up Trump as he lies about election fraud because he still can\u2019t come to terms with the fact that he lost to President Biden by over 7 million votes in 2020. With Lara Trump, Michael Whatley, and the rest of the RNC\u2019s in-house conspiracy theorists doing Trump\u2019s bidding and brazenly spreading the Big Lie about the 2020 election, it could not be clearer that democracy is at stake this November.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
