In response to Donald Trump <\/em>refusing<\/em><\/a> to commit to accepting the results of this November\u2019s election while once again <\/em>spewing lies<\/em><\/a> about his loss in the 2020 election, <\/em>DNC Rapid Response Director Alex Floyd released the following statement:<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cDonald Trump knows he\u2019s running a losing campaign that is centered around an extreme, unpopular, and dangerous agenda \u2013 that\u2019s why he is already trying to cast doubt on the results of this November\u2019s election, just like he did after he lost by over seven million votes in 2020. Trump is hellbent on attacking our democracy, threatening political violence, and promising a \u2018bloodbath\u2019 if he loses in November, but the American people are having none of it. Every time Trump opens his mouth, he makes it clear that democracy is on the ballot and gives voters yet another reason to make him a loser once again this November.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Trump continues to praise and promise pardons for violent January 6 rioters \u2013 who he calls \u201chostages\u201d and \u201cpatriots.\u201d <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n
