Today, the DNC is launching Trump\u2019s MAGA Veepstakes to hold all of Trump\u2019s VP contenders accountable as they sign onto Trump’s dangerous, out-of-touch MAGA agenda as part of their desperate race to the bottom to be his running mate.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

DNC Communications Director Rosemary Boeglin released the following statement: <\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cLike any narcissist, Donald Trump will choose a VP in his image: an extreme, anti-choice MAGA election denier who wants to rip away Americans\u2019 freedoms and sell out working families to help their special interest donors. Trump has floated dozens of names, and while he trots them around like sad show ponies on the campaign trail, it doesn\u2019t really matter who\u2019s in his good graces one day and who\u2019s shooting their dog the next. Trump\u2019s VP contenders have lined up behind his extreme election denialism, including parroting his lies about the 2020 election and refusing to commit to accepting this November\u2019s election results.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n
