\u201cJust like the ultra-MAGA minions running Project 2025 and the Republican Study Committee, Mike Johnson is already brainstorming ways to push through a \u2018mega-bill\u2019 with the most extreme components of the MAGA agenda if Donald Trump gets back into office. Trump\u2019s allies are chomping at the bit to double down on tax giveaways to the ultra-wealthy, gut access to affordable health care, and rip away our basic freedoms. But the reality is Trump and Johnson\u2019s extreme MAGA blueprint is as unpopular with the American people as they are \u2014 and voters will make that clear in November.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cSpeaker Mike Johnson is preparing Republicans for quick, large-scale action if they win unified control of government in November, telling Semafor he\u2019ll pursue a far-reaching bill aimed at addressing a wide range of issues at once. Johnson said he\u2019s been in frequent communication with Donald Trump, discussing the potential for a legacy-defining legislative package early in his presidency.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cThe core of any bill would be addressing the individual tax cuts passed under Trump that are scheduled to sunset in 2025, and are estimated to cost trillions to fully renew. Johnson and other members of leadership have also discussed new border security measures, as well as policies to promote energy production.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cAs for the Affordable Care Act, a sensitive issue Trump has talked about revisiting after failing to repeal and replace the law in 2017, Johnson said \u2018I don\u2019t think there\u2019s any coordinated effort on that yet,\u2019 but added there\u2019s \u2018a lot of innovation and change that is desperately needed\u2019 in the healthcare system.\u2019\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

House GOP MAGA minion Steve Scalise is already coordinating with Trump and the Republican Study Committee \u2014 which represents <\/strong>80 percent<\/strong><\/a> of House Republicans, including the party\u2019s entire leadership \u2014 to create an extreme MAGA blueprint for 2025 if Trump is elected.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n
