\u201cDonald Trump\u2019s VP contender J.D. Vance just did what Trump has been trying to hide from for weeks and praised the Project 2025 agenda. Here\u2019s what Vance thinks is a \u2018good idea\u2019 \u2013 enabling Trump\u2019s dangerous ambition to be a \u2018dictator on day one,\u2019 banning abortion nationwide, and giving handouts to the ultra-rich while raising costs on working people. Let\u2019s be clear: If given the chance, Trump and his VP nominee will inflict their extreme Project 2025 agenda on the American people, and that\u2019s why voters will reject Trump\u2019s far-right MAGA ticket at the ballot box this November.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

NEW: Trump VP contender J.D. Vance praised Project 2025 and said it has \u201cgood ideas.\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Vance<\/a>: \u201cI\u2019ve reviewed a lot of [Project 2025]. There are some good ideas in there.\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

There is no doubt that Project 2025 is \u201cundeniably a Trump-driven operation.\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Axios<\/a>: \u201cThis is undeniably a Trump-driven operation.<\/strong> The biggest tell: Johnny McEntee \u2014 one of Trump’s closest White House aides, and his most fervent internal loyalty enforcer \u2014 is a senior adviser to Project 2025. One of the most powerful architects is Stephen Miller, a top West Wing adviser for the Trump administration.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Politico<\/a>: \u201cMany of the authors of the blueprint are former Trump officials, and the Heritage Foundation has spent the past year-plus recruiting people to implement the plans within the administration<\/strong>, Scott said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201c\u2018So they don\u2019t just have a long, sprawling policy document,\u2019 he said, \u2018they also have a growing list of staff who are being tested to see if they are loyal to Trump and if they are willing to administer this in his potential administration.\u2019<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cWhile groups like Heritage have put forward conservative policy proposals in the past, Scott said Project 2025 is distinct in that it\u2019s so comprehensive and far-reaching.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201c\u2018It has so many groups contributing to it. It\u2019s the whole conservative policy movement gathered together,\u2019<\/strong> he said.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
