\u201cThe Democratic National Committee is taking their promotional strategy to the streets, purchasing bus wraps that will travel around Milwaukee during the Republican National Convention.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cThe DNC purchased 7 bus wraps that will appear on 57 buses run by the Milwaukee County Transit System. Four of the bus ads focus on President Biden\u2019s record, specifically regarding the restoration of abortion protections after the Dobbs v. Jackson\u2019s Women\u2019s Health decision, lowering prescription drugs, and maintaining social security. Three ads take aim at former President Trump\u2019s record when it comes to Wisconsin families.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cDNC Communications Director Rosemary Boeglin says, \u2018[a]head of the Republican National Convention, Democrats are making sure that Wisconsinites and all Americans understand that if Trump wins, America loses. This year, the survival of our democracy is on the ballot, along with protections for fundamental freedoms, health care, affordable prescription drugs, and good-paying jobs. \u201c\u2018We’ve got a ton of billboards. Anybody driving in or around the city of Milwaukee will see those. We’ve got digital ads, we’ve got TV. We’re blanketing radio,\u2019 Sam Cornale, executive director for the Democratic National Committee said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cThe DNC paid to wrap nearly 60 Milwaukee County buses with signs advocating for President Joe Biden.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201c\u2018What you’re seeing on the buses is our attempt to meet voters where they are on the street corners and say \u2018This is the choice that you have to start wrapping your head around, and we’re going to work to earn your vote,\u2019 Cornale said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
