Damning reporting from <\/em>Vanity Fair<\/em><\/a> last week exposed how RFK Jr. sexually assaulted his family babysitter, Eliza Cooney. When asked about the assault allegations, RFK Jr. <\/em>declined to rebut them<\/em><\/a>, saying, \u201cI am not a church boy\u2026I have so many skeletons in my closet that if they could all vote, I could run for king of the world\u2026I am who I am.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Today, two new stories from the <\/em>Washington Post<\/em><\/a> and the <\/em>Boston Globe<\/em><\/a> raised more questions about RFK Jr.\u2019s troubling treatment of women. When asked by the <\/em>Boston Globe<\/em><\/a> if other women might come forward with similar assault allegations, RFK Jr. once again failed to deny his actions and responded, \u201cI don\u2019t know. We\u2019ll see what happens.\u201d Reporting from the <\/em>Washington Post<\/em><\/a> uncovers that in the wake of the <\/em>Vanity Fair<\/em><\/a> story, RFK Jr. repeatedly contacted the former babysitter via phone and a late-night text to give, as Cooney describes it, a \u201cdisingenuous and arrogant\u201d excuse. <\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

In response, Democratic National Committee Spokesperson Matt Corridoni released the following statement:<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cRFK Jr. continues to offer dismissive and inadequate excuses in response to these sexual assault allegations. Like Donald Trump, RFK Jr. is not only plagued by scandal and a closet full of skeletons, but he has no shame or regard for the women he assaulted and harassed. His flippant admission that more women may come forward and so-called apology to his former nanny completely embodies his self-serving nature.
