Despite public opinion, Donald Trump and JD Vance\u2019s MAGA Project 2025 agenda would undermine a worker\u2019s right to unionize. <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Center for American Progress<\/a>: \u201cHowever, these gains are under threat from The Heritage Foundation\u2019s Project 2025\u2014a playbook with strategies for eroding checks and balances across the government that offers instructions for gutting the NLRB\u2019s enforcement capacity. This would threaten workers\u2019 ability to come together in unions to bargain for better wages and working conditions. <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The NLRB also changed a standard from 2019 that allowed many workers to be classified as independent contractors\u2014who are unable to unionize\u2014rather than as regular employees.
