In response to Donald Trump trying to claim he\u2019s \u201cnot familiar\u201d with the campaign of a candidate he praised as an \u201coutstanding person,\u201d<\/em> DNC Rapid Response Director Alex Floyd released the following statement: <\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cIf Donald Trump really is struggling to remember a campaign with a candidate he praised as \u2018an outstanding person\u2019<\/a> who was \u2018MLK on steroids,\u2019<\/a> then that\u2019s just another reason he should follow Vice President Harris\u2019 lead and release his medical records as soon as possible. The fact is, Trump endorsed and campaigned for Mark Robinson because he knows they are two MAGA extremists cut from the same cloth \u2013 and voters deserve a lot better than either of them.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Newsweek<\/a>: \u201c\u2018We have to cherish Mark … he’s like a fine wine,\u2019 Trump said in the video. \u2018He’s an outstanding person.\u2019\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Politico<\/a>: \u201cAsked by POLITICO at a campaign stop on Monday whether he would urge voters here to still support Mark Robinson, Trump declined to say either way.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
