The ads will run across the Midwest, highlighting Trump\u2019s disastrous economic agenda that would hike costs across the board, from gas prices to everyday essentials<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Today, the Democratic National Committee is launching a new ad campaign at hundreds of gas stations and convenience stores across the Midwest \u2013 reaching voters in Michigan, Wisconsin, Minnesota, Iowa, and Nebraska \u2013 calling out Donald Trump\u2019s expensive Project 2025 agenda to hike costs on working Americans. The Trump-Vance ticket\u2019s ultra-MAGA blueprint would raise costs by about $7,600 each year<\/a>, increase gas prices by up to 75 cents a gallon<\/a>, and leave working families in the dust \u2014 all while giving tax handouts to billionaires and big corporations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

As millions of Americans head to the polls in the final days before the election, the DNC is making sure voters understand that Vice President Harris, Governor Walz, and Democrats up and down the ballot are fighting to lower costs while Trump and Vance are promising an \u201cinflation bomb\u201d<\/a> that would skyrocket prices while rigging the economy for the ultra-rich on the backs of working families. This ad campaign will also run in communities with a large number of union households and at stores located on or near college campuses.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cWith Election Day right around the corner, the stakes for hardworking Americans \u2014 and their wallets \u2014 have never been more clear. Donald Trump and JD Vance\u2019s extreme Project 2025 agenda would rig the economy for the ultra-wealthy while jacking up gas prices by about 75 cents a gallon and adding thousands of dollars onto working families\u2019 bills,\u201d said DNC Chair Jaime Harrison<\/strong>. \u201cTrump might\u2019ve been handed a fortune on a silver platter by his daddy, but most of us have to work for a living. Vice President Harris is the only candidate in this race who understands the struggles working families face and will fight every day to make life more affordable.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
