It\u2019s not the first time he\u2019s said such a thing. At a rally in Philadelphia, PA this summer, Trump said, \u201cJill Stein, I like her very much. You know why? She takes 100% from them.\u201d <\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

In response, DNC Senior Advisor Adrienne Watson released the following statement: <\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cDonald Trump knows that Jill Stein is his key to the White House \u2014 that\u2019s why he praises her spoiler candidacy and why his MAGA allies are working to prop up her campaign. The stakes of this election are too high to allow Stein to spoil it. The DNC will make sure voters know that a vote for anyone other than Vice President Harris is a vote for Trump.\u201d <\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Here are all the Republicans who have propped up Jill Stein\u2019s candidacy:  <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

GOP lawyers and operatives have helped Stein\u2019s campaign with ballot access litigation \u2014 including Trump\u2019s former personal lawyer, Jay Sekulow, and an attorney involved in a lawsuit trying to overturn the 2020 election, Michael Dean. <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Wall Street Journal<\/a>: \u201cFormer Trump lawyer Jay Sekulow, who worked on the defense team in one of the former president\u2019s impeachments, was among those representing the Green Party in efforts to get Stein back on the Nevada ballot\u2026\u201d <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Forbes<\/a>: \u201c[Sekulow] has long aligned himself with former President Donald Trump and worked as his personal lawyer when he was in the White House, including representing the then-president during his 2020 impeachment trial and in the Mueller investigation into Trump\u2019s 2016 campaign.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Wisconsin Examiner<\/a>: \u201cThe Green Party was represented [in Wisconsin] by Brookfield attorney Michael Dean, who regularly works with Wisconsin Republicans.\u201d <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Milwaukee Journal Sentinel<\/a>: \u201c[Dean] has long been involved in conservative legal fights and last year was part of a lawsuit that claimed without evidence that voting machines were hacked by foreigners.\u201d <\/p>\n\n\n\n

At least two GOP-aligned super PACs are urging voters in the battleground states of Michigan, Wisconsin, and Georgia to support spoiler candidate Stein in an attempt to siphon off votes from Vice President Harris. <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Politico<\/a>: \u201cA Republican-aligned super PAC is sending texts in Georgia telling voters to \u2018Join The Movement For Equality\u2019 and vote for Jill Stein \u2014 a sign some Republicans believe her candidacy could harm Kamala Harris\u2019 chances in the battleground. American Environmental Justice PAC, which filed with the Federal Election Committee on Oct. 1, is urging voters to back the Green Party candidate. […] The PAC is at least the second pro-Stein, GOP-backed entity of its kind operating in an electoral battleground that has emerged in recent days: CNN reported that Badger Values is backing Stein with robocalls in Wisconsin.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Milwaukee Journal Sentinel<\/a>: \u201cBadger Values PAC, based in Houston, Texas, has reported spending more than $1.5 million since Oct. 18 on digital ads, mailers and phone calls supporting Stein and opposing Harris. […] The super PAC has also been tied to a robocall scheme to boost votes for Stein and siphon votes from Harris in Wisconsin and Michigan.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

GOP operatives and consulting firms \u2014 including one operated by someone who attended the January 6 attacks on the Capitol \u2014 helped Stein with signature collection to gain ballot access. <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Wall Street Journal<\/a>: \u201cFederal Election Commission records show Stein paid $100,000 in July to a consulting outfit that has worked with Republican campaigns, as well as Robert F. Kennedy Jr.\u2019s independent presidential bid. The [ballot access] firm, Accelevate, is operated by Trent Pool. The Intercept reported that he appeared to be part of the mob that breached the grounds of the U.S. Capitol on Jan. 6, 2021.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Associated Press<\/a>: \u201cJefferson Thomas, a longtime Republican operative from Colorado, submitted petition signatures that his firm, The Synapse Group, gathered on behalf of Stein in New Hampshire, records show.\u201d <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Jill Stein has previously embraced being boosted by Republicans: <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Stein and her campaign said she saw \u201cno issue\u201d joining forces with Republicans and would \u201ctake the help.\u201d <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Wall Street Journal<\/a>: \u201cStein, who used to practice internal medicine, told the Journal she saw no issue joining forces with Republicans […].  All that is beside the point, according to Stein.\u201d  <\/p>\n\n\n\n

CBS News<\/a>: \u201c\u2018We’re going to take the help that’s available to us,\u2019 said Jason Call, Jill Stein’s campaign manager\u2026 \u2018We understand that Republicans are going to want to help us for their own reasons\u2026\u2019\u201d <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Jason Call, @CallForCongress<\/a>: \u201cA lawyer stepped up to take the case. They are Republicans. You know what? I do not give a fuck.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Republicans praise Jill Stein\u2019s candidacy: <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Trump praised Stein\u2019s spoiler candidacy for years, saying he likes her \u201cvery much\u201d because \u201cshe takes 100% from them.\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Washington Examiner<\/a>: \u201c\u2018Crooked Hillary Clinton just called the respected environmentalist and Green Party candidate, Jill Stein, a \u2018Russian Asset.\u2019 They need a Green Party more than ever after looking at the Democrats disastrous environmental program!\u2019 Trump said.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Steve Bannon admitted that \u201cthe path to victory here is clearly maximizing the reach of these left-wing alternatives,\u201d adding, \u201cthe more exposure these guys get, the better it is for us.\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

New York Times<\/a>: \u200b\u200b\u201cIn the multicandidate race, Mr. Trump led by a single percentage point; Mr. Biden led Mr. Trump by three percentage points in a hypothetical head-to-head race. \u2018The path to victory here is clearly maximizing the reach of these left-wing alternatives,\u2019 said Stephen K. Bannon, the former White House chief strategist who also served as Mr. Trump\u2019s campaign chairman in 2016. \u2018No Republican knows that oil production under Biden is higher than ever. But Jill Stein\u2019s people do,\u2019 added Mr. Bannon. \u2018Stein is furious about the oil drilling. The college kids are furious about it. The more exposure these guys get, the better it is for us.\u2019\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

MAGA activist and GOP operative Scott Presler said it was his goal to gain ballot access for Stein in Pennsylvania.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

New York Times<\/a>: \u201cOther Trump supporters are trying to help third-party and independent candidates with the expensive and arduous process of gathering the signatures needed to get on state ballots.
