[&#8230;]<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>\u201cTrump\u2019s remarks to Time echoed similar backtracking he made on his promise that his proposed tariffs wouldn\u2019t boost prices.\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>CHASER: \u2026while promising tax handouts (again) for the ultra-rich and big corporations.&nbsp;<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/youtu.be\/s3_3u8wXUpc\">Trump<\/a>: \u201c<strong>We\u2019re going to be cutting taxes still further [for corporations].<\/strong> You know, we got it down to 21%, we\u2019re going to bring it down even below that. [&#8230;] Last time, as you know, we took it probably from close to 44-45% down to 21 everyone said that was impossible. Now it was always my \u2013 I really wanted to get it down to 15, and we\u2019ll be able to do that.\u201d&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/youtu.be\/zjeTosf5dF4\">Trump<\/a>: <strong>\u201cWe\u2019re cutting [big corporations\u2019] taxes. We\u2019re going to cut them very substantially. <\/strong>We got them down to 21% from probably 42 or 44% depending on where you are, we got them down to 21, everyone said that was a miracle. Now we\u2019re getting them down to 15, but only if you make your product here, otherwise you pay 21, which is not bad.
