In honor and tribute to those we lost more than 80 years ago, we remember the stories of the six million Jewish souls systematically murdered by the Nazis. We also commemorate other communities targeted by the Nazis: Roma and Sinti, Slavs, people with disabilities, LGBTQ+ individuals, and racial minorities.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cOn the anniversary of the liberation of Auschwitz-Birkenau, we grieve the memories of those who perished, honor survivors\u2019 testimonies, and remind ourselves \u2018never again.\u2019 As Jewish families around the world heal from the trauma inflicted on October 7th&nbsp; \u2014 the deadliest day for the Jewish community since the Shoah \u2014 the call of \u2018never again\u2019 is louder and stronger than ever before.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cAt home and abroad, we are witnessing a frightening rise in antisemitism. As Donald Trump empowers and pardons neo-nazis and doles out senior positions to people like Elon Musk, who gave a Nazi salute during an inauguration event, we condemn bigotry in all forms. We cannot allow hatred and anger to rule our nation, and must show compassion and respect for our fellow citizens.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cWe all have a responsibility to speak out against antisemitism and prejudice. Never again must we allow people to be targeted for their religion, ethnicity, nationality, or who they love. Never again must we walk away in the face of evil.
