Trump has been in office for less than a month, and Americans are already sick of him and his billionaire handlers. New polling confirms Trump\u2019s approval rating has dropped in the short time he\u2019s been in office \u2013 and is among the worst of any new president at the start of their administration. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

It\u2019s no wonder why:<\/strong> So far, Trump has signed executive orders targeting lifesaving programs and protections working families rely on, all while enabling unqualified billionaires to run his government. After failing at his promise to lower costs on \u201cDay 1\u201d and now attempting to cut Medicaid in order to extend his 2017 tax cuts for the wealthy, Americans are already tired of Donald Trump and his billionaire backers. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

New polling from this week shows Trump and Vance\u2019s approval ratings plummeting due to their failure to lower costs and deliver for working Americans. <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Navigator<\/a>: \u201cThree in four Americans say that Trump has already changed the federal government, but only two in five view this change positively.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cBy 6 points, Americans think Donald Trump wants what is best for himself (53 percent) rather than what is best for the country (47 percent)\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Marquette Law School Poll<\/a>: \u201cOpinion about the direction of the country remains negative, with 62% saying the country is off on the wrong track<\/strong> and 38% saying it is headed in the right direction.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Simon Rosenberg<\/a>: \u201cMorning Consult’s tracker has Trump’s job approval dropping 6 points <\/strong>52-44 (+8) to 49-47 (+2) in the past week.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Americans are voicing their disapproval of Trump\u2019s out-of-touch Project 2025 agenda that caters to the ultra-wealthy while hiking costs and gutting critical programs for everyday Americans. <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Navigator<\/a>: \u201cParticipants across levels of engagement describe the first weeks of the Trump administration as chaotic. Voters characterize Trump as \u2018chaotic,\u2019 \u2018moving fast\u2019 in a way that \u2018might not be perfect.\u2019<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cTrump\u2019s attempted government funding freeze is viewed as poorly executed with dire implications, including for some participants.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Navigator<\/a>: \u201cFew can recall what the \u2018Trump tax cuts\u2019 were or could be going forward yet many are quick to assume Trump\u2019s cuts are solely looking out for the rich and corporations.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cThe influence of Musk and tech CEOs emerges unaided as a red flag.\u201d <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Americans largely disapprove of Musk and other billionaires\u2019 influence on the Trump administration. <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Associated Press<\/a>: \u201cMany Americans also have an unfavorable view of Musk and are hesitant about the Republican president relying on billionaires for advice about government policy.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n
