\u201cBillionaire presidential adviser Elon Musk called entitlement spending \u2014 including Social Security and Medicare \u2014 a key target for cuts <\/strong>\u2026<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cMusk, who is guiding President Donald Trump\u2019s government downsizing effort, said Monday that entitlements with annual budgets of hundreds of billions of dollars were ripe for steep reductions. \u2026<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201c\u2018Most of the federal spending is entitlements,\u2019 Musk said in an interview with Fox Business\u2019 Larry Kudlow. \u2018So that\u2019s like the big one to eliminate.\u2019 \u2026<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cDemocrats, for their part, have raised concerns that DOGE\u2019s targets for spending reductions will mean that retirement and health care programs will be in the cross-hairs. Those worries have sparked a wave of angry constituents at town hall meetings, prompting some Republicans to cancel in-person events with voters.\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

On his first day in office, Trump immediately rescinded the Biden-Harris order to lower drug costs, targeting Medicare recipients across the country.  <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Innovation Center tests innovative payment and service delivery models designed to reduce program expenditures while preserving or enhancing the quality of care furnished to its beneficiaries.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
