On the one-year anniversary of Donald Trump backing states that want to monitor women\u2019s pregnancies, <\/em>DNC spokesperson Aida Ross released the following statement: <\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cOne year ago, Donald Trump told women across the country that they don\u2019t have a fundamental right to privacy and that states should be able to monitor women\u2019s pregnancies. Now, 100 days into his already-disastrous second term, Trump is staying true to the toxic Project 2025 blueprint he ran on by slashing maternal health care access and gutting lifesaving protections for women \u2013 and making it clear the rest of his extreme anti-choice agenda is next. After \u2018proudly\u2019 overturning Roe v. Wade<\/em>, Trump has already shown he\u2019ll stop at nothing to enact his dangerous plans \u2013 including ripping away reproductive freedoms and privacy from millions of Americans.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

One year ago today, Donald Trump said he would support states monitoring women\u2019s pregnancies as part of his toxic agenda to rip away our basic rights.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cRepublican presidential nominee Donald Trump said states with abortion bans should be free to monitor pregnant women to make sure they don\u2019t terminate their pregnancies \u2026<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201c\u2018I think they might do that,\u2019 Trump said in a Time magazine interview published Tuesday, when asked if he thinks states with abortion bans should track women who are pregnant.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Under his Project 2025 agenda, Trump is trying to attack women\u2019s reproductive rights and ban abortion nationwide while invading the privacy of millions of American women.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n
