Tonight, the DNC congratulates Rep. Mikie Sherrill on her victory in the New Jersey Democratic primary. Rep. Mikie Sherrill is a former Navy helicopter aircraft commander who knows how to lead. As governor, she will work across the aisle to build more housing, fix the economy, and lower costs for New Jersey families. In 2025, New Jersey will hold some of the nation’s most crucial elections. In the run-up to November, the DNC will work hand in hand with the New Jersey Democratic Party and Democratic candidates up and down the ballot to protect working Garden Staters and fight back against Donald Trump and Jack Ciattarelli\u2019s extreme, cost-hiking agenda. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
