While Vance attempts to do damage control for Trump\u2019s unpopular billionaire-first budget, Americans are already drowning in sky-high prices driven by Trump\u2019s reckless trade war. Pennsylvania businesses have already lost a total of $1.6 billion in revenue, thanks to Trump. The bottom line: Trump will always prioritize the ultra-wealthy over the American people \u2014 and now he\u2019s sending Vance to the Keystone State just to rub it in.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Donald Trump\u2019s billionaire-first budget is <\/strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.kff.org\/affordable-care-act\/press-release\/poll-public-views-big-beautiful-bill-unfavorably-by-nearly-a-2-1-margin-democrats-independents-and-non-maga-republicans-oppose-it-while-maga-supporters-favor-it-favorability-ero\/\"><strong>wildly unpopular<\/strong><\/a><strong> with the American people \u2014 and yet, Vance is <\/strong><a href=\"https:\/\/thehill.com\/homenews\/administration\/5396467-vance-pennsylvania-reconciliation-bill\/\"><strong>traveling<\/strong><\/a><strong> to Pennsylvania to remind working families who\u2019s responsible for this disastrous bill.&nbsp;<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>An <a href=\"https:\/\/www.kff.org\/medicaid\/poll-finding\/kff-health-tracking-poll-views-of-the-one-big-beautiful-bill\/\">overwhelming majority<\/a> of Americans, including one in three Republicans, disapprove of Trump\u2019s billionaire-first budget<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/amp.cnn.com\/cnn\/2025\/07\/16\/politics\/trump-megabill-one-big-beautiful-bill\">61%<\/a> of Americans oppose the GOP\u2019s budget bill, with only 16% saying the proposal will help their family<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/harvardharrispoll.com\/press-release-june-2025\/\">52%<\/a> of Americans believe the budget proposal will make the economy worse, including one in four Republicans and 56% of independents<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.kff.org\/medicaid\/poll-finding\/kff-health-tracking-poll-views-of-the-one-big-beautiful-bill\/\">64%<\/a> of Americans hold an unfavorable opinion of the GOP\u2019s tax and budget bill, including 34% of Republicans\u00a0<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>When people hear about the bill\u2019s <a href=\"https:\/\/www.kff.org\/affordable-care-act\/press-release\/poll-public-views-big-beautiful-bill-unfavorably-by-nearly-a-2-1-margin-democrats-independents-and-non-maga-republicans-oppose-it-while-maga-supporters-favor-it-favorability-ero\/\">drastic health care cuts<\/a>, support shrinks and opposition grows \u2014 including among Trump\u2019s own supporters<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>After being told that the bill would decrease funding for local hospitals, favorability of the bill falls to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.kff.org\/affordable-care-act\/press-release\/poll-public-views-big-beautiful-bill-unfavorably-by-nearly-a-2-1-margin-democrats-independents-and-non-maga-republicans-oppose-it-while-maga-supporters-favor-it-favorability-ero\/\">21%<\/a> while unfavorability rises to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.kff.org\/affordable-care-act\/press-release\/poll-public-views-big-beautiful-bill-unfavorably-by-nearly-a-2-1-margin-democrats-independents-and-non-maga-republicans-oppose-it-while-maga-supporters-favor-it-favorability-ero\/\">79%<\/a><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Trump\u2019s budget will devastate working Pennsylvanians&nbsp; \u2014 tanking manufacturing and ripping away their food assistance and health care.&nbsp;<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Nearly <a href=\"https:\/\/www.jec.senate.gov\/public\/index.cfm\/democrats\/press-releases?ID=E59E9267-899E-40EC-BEBF-BC9778CBF165\">484,000<\/a> Pennsylvanians will lose health insurance\u00a0<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.cbpp.org\/research\/food-assistance\/senate-agriculture-committees-revised-work-requirement-would-risk-taking\">143,000<\/a> Pennsylvanians are at risk of losing food assistance<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.commonwealthfund.org\/publications\/issue-briefs\/2025\/jun\/how-medicaid-snap-cutbacks-one-big-beautiful-bill-trigger-job-losses-states\">Nearly<\/a> <a href=\"https:\/\/www.bluegreenalliance.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/06\/Jobs-Research-Brief.pdf\">58,000<\/a> Pennsylvanians could lose their job\u00a0<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The <a href=\"https:\/\/www.census.gov\/quickfacts\/\">median household<\/a> in Pennsylvania will lose over <a href=\"https:\/\/budgetlab.yale.edu\/research\/combined-distributional-effects-one-big-beautiful-bill-act-and-tariffs\">$300<\/a> from Trump\u2019s billionaire-first budget alone.
