First, Donald Trump denied<\/a> that he was briefed that his name is in the Epstein files. Then, he ran away<\/a> after it came out that his name is in fact in the files \u2014 and he knew about it<\/a>. Now, Doodler-in-Chief Trump is doubling down on his remarks about pardoning Jeffrey Epstein\u2019s chief accomplice and convicted sex trafficker Ghislaine Maxwell, while desperately trying to spin this scandal as a \u201cgood issue\u201d for him. Trump can try and spin this until he\u2019s blue in the face, but the American people know the truth \u2014 Trump and his administration are covering up the truth about Epstein and playing footsie with his partner in crime. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

WATCH<\/strong><\/a>: Donald Trump refuses to rule out a pardon for Epstein\u2019s chief accomplice Ghislaine Maxwell <\/strong>\u2014 and continues to claim he has the \u201cpower\u201d to grant her freedom. <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Reporter<\/a>: \u201cMr. President, you wouldn\u2019t completely rule out a pardon for Ghislaine Maxwell when you landed. Is that something you would ever consider and why? \u2026\u201d <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Trump: Well, I\u2019m allowed to give her a pardon \u2026\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

WATCH<\/strong><\/a>: Trump \u2014 who called for the release of Epstein files \u2014 couldn\u2019t answer why his name is in the files, and is now claiming the files are fake.  <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Reporter<\/a>: \u201cBut you have said that you have not been briefed on the Epstein files, but\u2014 or your name has not appeared in the Epstein files, but doesn\u2019t the AG have to tell you if your name is in\u2014 <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Trump: \u201cWell, I haven\u2019t been overly interested in it, you know, it\u2019s something, it\u2019s a hoax that\u2019s been built up way beyond proportion. \u2026 Now, they can easily put something in the files that\u2019s a phony \u2026 The whole thing was a fake.<\/strong> They can put things in the file that are fake, but those files were run by bad, sick people.\u201d <\/p>\n\n\n\n

WATCH<\/strong><\/a>: In a desperate attempt to deny he sent Epstein a birthday card with personally-drawn graphic images, Trump claimed he \u201cdoesn\u2019t do drawings\u201d \u2014 despite having done <\/strong>many<\/strong><\/a> <\/strong>drawings<\/strong><\/a>. <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Trump<\/a>: \u201cI don\u2019t do drawings. <\/strong>I\u2019m not a drawing person. I don\u2019t do drawings.\u201d <\/p>\n\n\n\n

WATCH<\/strong><\/a>: Trump desperately tried to spin his long friendship with pedophile Jeffrey Epstein as a \u201cgood issue,\u201d falsely claiming his poll numbers went up. <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n
