Donald Trump spent his morning giving a bizarre, confusing (and concerning) 45-minute rant on CNBC\u2019s Squawk Box. In a sad display of desperation, Trump forgot who he was talking to, delusionally claimed \u201call prices\u201d are down, confused the details of his own trade war, confirmed he\u2019d \u201clike to run\u201d for a third term, and tried to convince himself \u2014 because he certainly couldn\u2019t convince anyone else \u2014 that he has a 71% approval rating. Instead of focusing on bringing down costs \u2014 the issue that most Americans are concerned about<\/a> \u2014 Trump is busy gaslighting the American people. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Here are some of the most alarming exchanges Trump had during his CNBC interview: <\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

WATCH<\/strong><\/a>: Donald Trump delusionally claimed that \u201call prices\u201d are down while <\/strong>inflation continues to rise<\/strong><\/a> and working families <\/strong>struggle<\/strong><\/a> to afford groceries, housing, and health care.  <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Donald Trump: \u201cNo, no prices are down since I came in, down. All prices<\/strong>, just about, except for the price of stock. The price of stock is way up, okay. But prices are down. And if you look\u2014\u201d <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Kernen: \u201cInflation is moderate, some of em\u2014\u201d <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Trump: \u201c I\u2019ll give you an example, Joe, look at energy. Energy is way down. Energy is down to $2.20 a barrel, a gallon now for a car \u2026\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Kernen: \u201cI\u2019ve seen $2.80.\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

WATCH<\/strong><\/a>: Trump demanded the host give him \u201ca break\u201d when asked about his attempt to cook the books after his disastrous job report. <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Kernen: \u201c[I]t\u2019s just a big leap to go to rigged, and also Mr. President, it makes anyone you pick is gonna be \u2014 critics are gonna say, \u2018Hey, he\u2019s picking the guy that\u2019s gonna give him \u2014 or the gal that\u2019s gonna give him the numbers he wants.\u2019\u201d \u2026<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Trump: \u201cBut when they say that the you know that nobody was involved, and that wasn\u2019t political. Give me a break.\u201d <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

WATCH<\/strong><\/a>: When asked about the details of his so-called trade \u201cdeals,\u201d Trump retorted that there were \u201cno details.\u201d <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Becky Quick: \u201cThe deal that you are\u2014\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Trump: \u201c\u2014and nobody knows it Becky, nobody knows it, cause you know they don\u2019t know\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Quick: \u201cNo, they \u2014 we have been trying to figure out the details on that, Mr. President, so we appreciate the clarity\u2014\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Trump: \u201cYeah, well there are no details.\u201d <\/p>\n\n\n\n

WATCH<\/strong><\/a>: Trump lied about the fact that he\u2019s the <\/strong>least popular president in modern history<\/strong><\/a>, delusionally claiming he has a 71% approval rating despite being live fact-checked. <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Kernen: \u201cOverall poll numbers, you don\u2019t have the best you ever had in overall poll numbers. You know, I cited one of those.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Trump: \u201cI have the best, I have the best poll numbers I\u2019ve ever had.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Kernen: \u201cFor Republicans, among Republicans.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Trump: \u201cI have poll numbers where I\u2019m 71%. I have the best poll numbers.\u201d <\/p>\n\n\n\n

WATCH<\/strong><\/a>: Trump got into a shouting match with the host after they tried to fact check his crazy claim he got the <\/strong>\u201chighest vote\u201d<\/strong><\/a> in Texas. <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Kernen: \u201cSo you did get the highest number of votes in Texas, so that\u2019s true. But when you\u2019re talking\u2014\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Trump: \u201cI did but you don\u2019t have to say anything more, Joe.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Kernen: \u201cI got to say this\u2014\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Trump: \u201cNo, no, don\u2019t say anything more.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Kernen: \u201cNo, I gotta.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Trump: \u201cDon\u2019t qualify it by saying\u2014 I got the highest number of votes in the history of Texas.\u201d <\/p>\n\n\n\n

WATCH<\/strong><\/a>: Trump claimed the GOP is \u201centitled\u201d to more seats through his party\u2019s unconstitutional attempt to disenfranchise millions of Texans. <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Trump: \u201cWe have an opportunity in Texas \u2026 and we are entitled to 5 more seats.\u201d <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

WATCH<\/strong><\/a>: Trump said he would like to run for President again \u2014 even though it would be blatantly unconstitutional.  <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Quick: \u201cAre you going to run again?\u201d \u2026 <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Trump: \u201cI\u2019d like to run<\/strong>. I have the best poll numbers I\u2019ve ever had.\u201d <\/p>\n\n\n\n

WATCH<\/strong><\/a>: Trump, seemingly forgetting his own DOJ said there was no election interference, tried to relitigate the 2020 election yet again. <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Trump: \u201cBut what they did in the 2020 election is grotesque. I mean, that was a rigged election, 100% rigged election\u2014\u201d <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Kernen: \u201cOkay, we can\u2019t relitigate that. We can\u2019t relitigate that\u2013\u201d <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Trump: \u201cNo, no \u2014 we\u2019re back to rigging again. Well you can use this because everyone knows it. \u2026 It was a rigged election. But 100% rigged.\u201d \u2026 <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Kernen: \u201cYou know, independent sources, even your Justice Department \u2026 even they decided that there wasn\u2019t, there were, you know, things that happened, but nothing that would have swayed it.\u201d <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

WATCH<\/strong><\/a>: Trump again went after US Representative Jasmine Crockett and did some weird rambling about her family lineage. <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Trump: \u201cI mean, when you have low IQ people like Crockett. I wonder if she\u2019s in any relationship to the late great Davy Crockett, who is a great, great, a great gentleman.<\/strong> I wonder if she\u2019s got any relationship to Davy Crockett, the great old Davy Crockett.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

WATCH<\/strong><\/a>: Trump forgets who he\u2019s speaking to, calling the host by the wrong name. <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n
