Democrats now have enough votes to force a floor vote to release the Epstein files following Adelita Grijalva\u2019s win last night in Arizona. Grijalva <a href=\"https:\/\/www.usatoday.com\/story\/opinion\/columnist\/2025\/09\/24\/trump-epstein-files-release-congress\/86312132007\/\">committed<\/a> to signing the discharge petition on her first day in Congress.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>For weeks, Democrats have been leading the charge to release the Epstein files, including Rep. Robert Garcia \u2014 the top Democrat on the House Oversight Committee \u2014 forcing the release of Trump\u2019s birthday note to Epstein.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Now, Republicans will be forced to vote on their release, choosing between justice for the Epstein victims or protecting Donald Trump \u2014 who we know is mentioned in the files.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em>In response to Rep.-elect Grijalva\u2019s victory, <\/em><strong><em>DNC Chair Ken Martin released the following statement:&nbsp;<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cWith Rep.-elect Grijalva&#8217;s victory, Democrats in Congress now have the votes to deliver real transparency and release the Epstein files. We know Donald Trump was named in the Epstein files \u2013 it\u2019s long past time for Republicans to stop covering this up.
