In the lead-up to the Pennsylvania Supreme Court retention race this November, a Republican-aligned group that is bankrolled by conservative billionaires is now sending out misleading mailers about the Pennsylvania Congressional map.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The ad<\/a> falsely claims the state Supreme Court gerrymandered Pennsylvania\u2019s congressional map and uses a map that the court actually struck down, blaming the three justices up for retention in November. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

While conservatives try to lie and cheat, the DNC is all hands on deck to ensure the people of Pennsylvania choose their justices, not right-wing billionaires like Jeff Yass \u2014 including through our new six-figure investment<\/a> to support the Pennsylvania Democratic Party in their on-the-ground voter contact efforts, including to retain Pennsylvania Supreme Court justices Christine Donohue, Kevin Dougherty, and David Wecht.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

DNC Chair Ken Martin released the following statement: <\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cMAGA billionaires are trying to buy the Pennsylvania Supreme Court by any means necessary, even if it means deceiving voters. As the DNC works to ensure Justices Christine Donohue, Kevin Dougherty, and David Wecht are retained this November, we\u2019ll continue fighting to make sure it\u2019s Pennsylvanians who choose their leaders and not GOP billionaires who only fight for themselves and Donald Trump. Republican lies and deception are once again at the forefront. Pennsylvanians will see right through this and vote to retain their Supreme Court justices in November.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
