Donald Trump\u2019s Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent announced<\/a> that the administration is working on sending another $20 billion to Argentina, bringing the total to $40 billion<\/a> for Argentina\u2019s economy \u2014 more than it would cost to pay for Affordable Care Act tax credits for two years \u2014 as working families brace for skyrocketing health care premiums because Trump refuses to reopen the government and extend these subsidies. American families and farmers are struggling under the weight of Trump\u2019s failed economy as he sends billions overseas.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cTurns out \u2018America First\u2019 was just another one of Donald Trump\u2019s lies. Trump is sending billions of dollars overseas to enrich his wealthy friends while American families and farmers bear the brunt of his disastrous economic policies. Families are struggling to afford everything from rent to groceries, and farmers are on the brink of bankruptcy \u2014 and there\u2019s no end in sight as Trump\u2019s government shutdown continues and Americans brace for skyrocketing health care premiums. Trump is happy to send billions to his buddies in foreign countries, but when it comes to health care for working families, he\u2019s not willing to spend a penny. First, Donald Trump and his Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent bailed out<\/a> Argentina\u2019s economy to the tune of $20 billion. Then, a bombshell report<\/a> revealed that Trump and Bessent\u2019s bailout will benefit<\/a> longtime wealthy fund manager Rob Citrone, an ally of Trump and Bessent.
