Meanwhile, Trump still refuses to reopen the government and extend enhanced ACA tax credits, skyrocketing health care premiums for 22 million Americans.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Trump is demanding $230 million in legal damages, $40 billion for Argentina, $250 million for his White House ballroom, and $172 million for Kristi Noem\u2019s two private jets. Meanwhile, Trump won\u2019t spend a penny to lower health care premiums.&nbsp;<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This is just the latest example of Trump abusing his power for his own enrichment. He\u2019s made it crystal clear that he doesn\u2019t work for Americans. Trump\u2019s loyalties only lie with himself and his billionaire buddies.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong><em>In response, DNC Chair Ken Martin released the following statement:&nbsp;<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cDonald Trump won\u2019t help Americans, but he\u2019ll sure help himself. In less than a year, he\u2019s turned the taxpayer into his personal piggy bank. While he refuses to extend tax credits to prevent massive health care cost increases for 22 million Americans, he\u2019s trying to get the government to pay him $230 million in legal damages using taxpayer dollars.
