By rescinding DACA, President Trump would remove protections given to nearly 800,000<\/a> immigrants who were brought to this country as children. The DACA program is immensely popular, even among Trump’s own voters, and rescinding it will have damaging impacts on the economy by cutting our nation’s workforce and drastically reducing our GDP. Here are some other important numbers:<\/p>\n

78%<\/a> of registered voters believe DREAMers should be allowed to stay in this country.<\/p>\n

56%<\/a> of registered voters believe DREAMers should be given a path to citizenship.<\/p>\n

75%<\/a> of Trump voters think DACA recipients should be allowed to stay in the country.<\/p>\n

78%<\/a> of Republican voters supported Trump’s decision to keep the DACA program, before we went back on his promise.<\/p>\n

74%<\/a> of conservatives say DREAMers should be allowed to stay in the country.<\/p>\n

As much as $460.3 billion<\/a> would be lost from our nation’s GDP over the next decade from ending DACA.<\/p>\n

Nearly 700,000<\/a> DACA recipients could be forced out of their jobs and businesses.<\/p>\n

$3.4 billion<\/a> will need to be spent to train and hire new employees to fill the jobs vacated by DREAMers.<\/p>\n
