DNC, ASDC, and CDA to Hold Meetings During the Week<\/span><\/em><\/p>\n

DNC Members to Volunteer to Assist Those Recovering from the Las Vegas Shooting<\/span><\/em><\/p>\n

Hon. Eric H. Holder, Jr. & NV Democratic Congressional Members to Deliver Remarks<\/span><\/em><\/p>\n

Las Vegas – Tomorrow, October 18, from 1:00 PM until 5:00 PM PDT, the Democratic National Committee’s Unity Reform Commission will meet for the fourth time in Las Vegas.  During Wednesday’s meeting, Commission members will hear more about the voter registration process in New York and will discuss the various topics covered in the Commission’s mandate. This meeting will be open to the general public.<\/span><\/p>\n

Also on Wednesday, October 18, the Association of State Democratic Chairs will hold their regular business meeting from 4:00 PM until 6:30 PM. This meeting will be open to the general public.<\/span><\/p>\n

During the week, members of the Democratic National Committee (DNC) from across the country will gather for the DNC’s Fall Meeting in Las Vegas, where the party will elect caucus and council leaders and will focus on organizing and winning in every single ZIP code across the country. DNC members will offer volunteer services to those recovering from last week’s deadly mass shooting.<\/span><\/p>\n

The DNC meeting will begin on Thursday, October 19 and will conclude on Saturday, October 21. Over the course of three days, DNC members will participate in caucus, council, and committee meetings as well as training sessions. There will be one general session meeting to discuss party business on Saturday, October 21 from 10:30 AM PDT- 1:30 PM PDT that is open to the general public. The College Democrats of America will also hold a nominations and candidates forum as part of their National Convention.<\/span><\/p>\n

Highlights:<\/span><\/p>\n

·<\/span>         At tomorrow’s ASDC meeting, DNC CTO Raffi Krikorian will brief members on the party’s technological upgrades and provide an update on available tech tools for all 57 state parties.<\/p>\n

·<\/span>         Throughout the week, DNC members will offer volunteer services to those recovering from last week’s deadly mass shooting.<\/p>\n

·<\/span>         At Saturday’s general session, the Honorable Eric H. Holder, Jr., the 82nd Attorney General of the United States under President Barack Obama and current chair of the National Democratic Redistricting Committee, will deliver keynote remarks.<\/p>\n

·<\/span>         Other speakers throughout the week include U.S. Senator Catherine Cortez Masto, Congresswoman Dina Titus, Congressman Ruben Kihuen, andCongresswoman Jacky Rosen.<\/p>\n
