Today, February 15th<\/sup> at 3:30 PM EST\/12:30 PM PST, Denver Mayor Michael B. Hancock, Los Angeles Mayor Eric Garcetti, Tampa Mayor Bob Buckhorn, Dayton Mayor Nan Whaley, and Pittsburgh Mayor William Peduto will hold a Press Call to discuss the Trump administration’s infrastructure scam.<\/p>\n

After repeatedly failing to live up to prioritize infrastructure like he promised, the release of Trump’s infrastructure plan once again falls short. Trump’s plan is just another giveaway to corporations and wealthy developers at the expense of American workers. The proposal fails to address some of the most pressing infrastructure needs our country faces and does not provide adequate funding to address our nation’s infrastructure needs. The proposal includes just $200 billion in infrastructure funding, which is less than the $240 billion<\/a> that Trump’s budget proposed cutting to transportation and other infrastructure programs. Instead of prioritizing projects that benefit working Americans and create jobs, his plan prioritizes corporate profits.<\/p>\n
